Friend is lost JOEY, Channel 9's great comedy hope for 2005, has been pulled from the air after poor ratings. The Friends spin-off, starring Matt LeBlanc, is to be replaced by a reality show starring a domestic hero. Joey and the Charlie Sheen sitcom Two and a Half Men are making way for Supernanny, the US-produced series featuring Jo Frost, who tries to bring peace and order to dysfunctional families. The decision will disappoint LeBlanc, who told the Herald Sun three weeks ago that the sitcom was finding its feet. Sources : Herald Sun / News.com.au I got this from a thread in FriendsCafe...so credits to them! lol Looks like "Joey" really isn't living up to expectations... it's a shame, i feel sorry for Matt, he tried his best, but it wasn't going to be long before the show was going to come off air, he did a good try though! I feel so sorry for Matt! He has such heart, and I wished the best for him. However, I only watched "Joey" to support him - I didnt think it was that great. He will be so disapointed. But I remember him and Jen paying it out once, and he knew that it would be tough to make it without the other 5 characters, his friends.  Poor Matty |

Hahaha It's alright Dreem.... let it all out! lol I wish Matt all the best... but i must say myself, I was only watching Joey for him, i thought the show in itself wasn't the best it could have been... there wasn't enough jokes, boring storylines and characters that had no purpose... instead of having 50 million small stories, they should of took one big one and ran it all the way through the episodes... i think that would of made it more interesting to watch... but hats off to Matt for trying, he did a superb job!

It's still on here but I don't know how long it will last.. The reruns of Friends have better ratings and they're on for like the 20th time, so to speak.
I hope it doesn't get cancelled, I watch it every week

last week i thought joey was coming bk on
i dunno why
we were driving back from some place, and u know on the sides of bus stops? where they have ads and stuff?
i thought it was JOEY and it was going to be on channel 10 or something...
but today i went past it again, and it was just an ad for a radio show!!!!!!! boohoo!

Aaww no way Dreem! Well if i'm being honest i don't think ti will be too long before it's cancelled in the UK, like Simone said, friends re-runs have higher ratings! If it had better scripts, characters and more interesting things happening, i think it would be much better! It jsuts eems to be lacking something, maybe it's the chemistry between the characters, i think they need a few long staying roles, instead of lil' ones that come and go every episode. But that's just my view! lol I still watch it though, for Matty! hehe

i reckon its not doing well, because Friends has set such a high standard
