I just found this thread, and with all you guys talking, I started crying. I'm crying right now. Until recently, I was just obsessed with FRIENDS. Watching it every day, quoting from it, and stuff like that. Now that it finally hit me that it's over..there will never be any more...I just feel like I kind of have to..save it. I don't want to think of all the funny things too often, because once I've thought of them too much, there aren't going to be any new ones to think about. Before when I thought of it, I would laugh and smile. Now when I think of it, I get all sad. I'm just going to leave you with this quote:

I always knew that looking back on the tears would make me laugh
But I never knew looking back on the laughter would make me cry.

Oh, also, FRIENDS was the best show that there ever was and ever will be. No show will ever be able to compete with it. My Thursday nights at 7:00 are always sad. Every week for like two months I would say to one of my parents in a really sad voice "..know what show was on at this time...?" Unlike other sitcoms, we grew to care about the characters, not just for making us laugh, but actually caring what happend to them. they seemed so real, like a group of six people who hang out at a coffee shop. There will never be any show like it again.

yeah friends is unique , "joey" tried to fallow friends steps , but there is no show so good as friends! it's was so perfect !! everytime I think about it I keep wondering how is that over?!

but..you can get one more laugh. you can get tons of more laughs. just watch it and you'll see that even if you know every line you still laugh. yea barbaralazarotto (its barbara right?) I think we all wonder how it could be over. no, I don't think jen said that.. but that is a wonderful quote!!

hey, something more on this, I found this poem that I wrote about the end of FRIENDS I really was crying my eyes out when i wrote it. Keep in mind that I am NOT a poet and I am NOT a writer..so it's probably not too good but I wanted to share it with you all:

Sitting here with tears streaming down my face,
With the greatest memories that will never erase.
"It's all superficial", my mom will say,
But she doesn't know that Friends makes my day.
The six of them living and laughing, never leaving
When out in the real world, people are grieving.
They're my escape, the perfect piece
To making my life the best, for 30 minutes at least.
"But why do I cry?"
You ask me why
Maybe I'm mad they ended the show
Or maybe, it's too hard for me to let go
But the answer is, I'll never really know.

There's a place in my heart where Friends will always be,
But there's also a hole where it was, you see.
They left us with a tearful good-bye.
And now as I sit here and cry,
I wonder why this effects me so
Is it because the end of the show?
Or is it something more important, like friendship and love?
That from all other shows, it rises above
So please, just try to understand me now,
How do I waste my tears on this?
They're not wasted, that's how.

that's such a beautifull poem, it made me cy and rethink the moment that I saw that very last episode. I even hid that episode because everytime I saw it I just started to cry. it's true that I do cry really fast but it's just so sad that episode means the end of friends, the end of ... I can't even describe it. I still watch the reruns every day and now they are in the beginning of season 3 so there are a few months of friends to go for
