FRIENDS was the best show ever!!!! the last episodes are so sad.. especially when ross and rachel's final kiss when she gets off the plane and they play the song!!! what song is that?

Friends was and still is a legendary show!!!! I miss it sooooo much, but I'm glad i own them all on dvd so that I can watch them all over and over!! I thought the final episode was outstading!!!! Me and my freinds had a big party everybody came round we had food, popcorn, we went all american!!!lol Then we all sat together huddled on our couch! n watched the final episode. By the time it was finished there wasn't a dry eye left in the room!!!!lol It's somehting non of us will forget in a hurry!!!

Yeah I def miss the show so much. I am so thankful that I have all the seasons as well because I would be going crazy. I don't think I will ever get over FRIENDS. I am still trying to collect as much as I can from the show. Me and my friends had a huge party as well. We had the FRIENDS pack from target and we made most of the food in the recipies pack. LOL Then we ordered pizza in honor of Joey lol. I bawled my eyes out. I was even crying at the hour special they had before the final episode came on. I cried through the whole thing and then for like an hour after. I just can't believe that it is over!! I have tried watching Joey it had just been really hard for me to get into it.  ~Anna  |

I was the same ANNAston!!! Every lil thing they said i was like "that might be the last time chandler says something funny!!" or something like that lol sad i know! When the camera started moving around Monicas apartment that was it i was really gone!!!! My eyes were all blurry and everything. Even now when I watch it over, i still cry! It still seams quite surreal to me!

This music may have been created to sound like certain popular music, but it is not from an actual pop song. I'm told that The special features (commentary?) on the Season 2 DVD release says that the producers wanted to use U2's "With or Without You," but didn't have time to arrange for the rights, so they found a studio music clip that sounded "U2-ish". Later, they found chances to use the actual U2 song in other Ross /Rachel moments, including in the very next episode (2.08). A source at Warner Bros. explained it this way: Sorry, but that is a library piece, so it is not available. It was found by my music editor. It is common practice on many TV shows to use licensed music from library CDs. A "library" is usually a large number of CDs featuring music and/or sound effects. Libraries often consist of 10 to 50 CDs that are sold on a per use basis and incorporated into a TV show as needed so that a show producer can find a piece of music that evokes a mood or feeling to help the story. This is easier than getting a composer or band together to record original sounds, and costs less than doing that or licensing a popular song. And clearly, it works. :-) Someone else pointed out that the same clip was used in other Friends episodes, played as one scene changes to another. For example, it is used during the opening of episode 316, The One The Morning After, during the "Previously, on Friends" recap of the prior episode. hope i helped a little! |

For new episodes of shows the second half of 2004, my TV life has been very depressing, I wtch re-runs everyday and i have DVD's but i miss having the excitment of a new episode of Friends, I miss going all through Monday thinking I wonder what this episodes gonna be like, and then when it comes to 9 o'clock I sit down and watch it feeling like I've gotten my fix for the week but 2005 theres hope, Family Guy is uncancelled and Season4 starts, and also its 4 days till Joey starts over here in Ireland so the future is bright, but my TV life will never be the same...EVER!!
