IT AINT THE SAME!!!

Okay so Joey was shown for the first time in Ireland today, and just from watching the opening credits it felt so wrong, the song, it aint an "I'll Be There For You", and already I'm missing the other 5, especially Chandler, with Joey, and that Michael dude, he shouldnt be living with Joey, only Rachel or Chandler should!!! He aint gonna be the next Chandler roomate-wise, and I saw the speech he made about changes, I started crying, it was sooooo sad, at the moment, I aint mad about Joey!!!

Yeah but it is kinda like what did you expect. Did you really think it was going to be FRIENDS II?? The producers tryed to break off and make none of us think about FRIENDS when we watch Joey. Joey is supposed to be completely on his own, like he was never friends with them. It is so sad I know. His speech made me cry as well. It was very sad. I think alot of us were disapointed because we expected FRIENDS. We expect it to be alot like it and its not. And I hate to break it to you but in future episodes they make NO relation to FRIENDS whatsoever. They don't even mention or talk about it. It was like it never happened. It is sad. They just want him to be completely on his own and build his own life.

I didnt think it would be EXACTLY the same, I thought it would be similar in ways of the way it would make me feel, like the way Friends makes me feel, I didnt feel it, especially from the opening credits and about the speech, he makes this speech about like how all of the other Friends changed, like getting married and moving and moving on, it like soooooooo sad

Aaawwwww, It isn't in the UK yet, but I am looking forward to it, but i think it's going to be a big change from the usual friends!!! lol

Of course its different! I missed the others too. I kept waiting for any of them to walk through that door! But I guess we don;t have to expect that to happen, especially in the first season.
I love the show though. Joey is still Joey and its pretty funny to see how hes trying to handle it on his own!

Yeah it is totally different. I see what your saying about the opening credits. The show just seems like another sitcom. But I really think it all depends on how much you like Joey's character. I mean he is exactly the same on the show. But it is def not FRIENDS. And I read that we shouldn't be expecting any FRIENDS cast members to be making guest experiences in the first season because they don't want to relate the show back to FRIENDS yet. They want to make their own foundation first. But whats sad is I doubt there will be a second season. I read that it is just too sad and too hard for Matt to come to work everyday and be Joey without his other 5. I read that he doesn't want to do a second season. Plus the success of the show has been ok but not amazing......so who knows.

Aaaawwww that's such a shame, but it has gotta be sooo hard for him!!!!! God bless him for trying though!!! I mean FRIENDS being such the success it was, nothing will ever come near it, not even something with the same characters! As proven! FRIENDS is just too amazing!!!! Always has been and Always will be!!!!

I JUST WATCHED THE FIRST EP!!!! YEAH I TOTALLY AGREE! IT WAS FUNNY BUT JUST WASNT THE SAME!!!!! IM STILL GONNA LOVE IT THOUGH!!!!!

i watched the first episode last night!!! It was really funny! Coz it was like the same old Joey... but i missed the gang sooo much!!!!! I was talking to my friends whilst watching and was saying how we all really missed them... it's just not the same without them all being there! I thought the speech was sooo sad.... i was nearly in tears! lol But i think they should of mentioned the characters a lil more.... only Chandler got his name mentioned!!!! I look forward to watching more though... it's funny!

wow! is it really cold in the UK? it's always hot here! lol anyway joey hasn't started here either but there's a commerical about it starting 'soon'.. didn't say the date.. oh.. i thought in 'joey' he was gonna talk about rachel, chandler.. etc like more.. like a second friends.. lol.. anyway wat speech is this?

LOL...Yeah it is always cold here! lol In the speech Joey says how the rest of the gang moved on and he didn't like it but he had to do the same... because it seemed like the right thing to do! The way he said it though made it really sad, like it really effected him loads!!! Bless.... i think it's deffinately worth a look, i really liked it!!

Joey starts on March 4th here, I've put all kinds of notes through my room and in my agenda cuz I really want to see it! I have a lot of notes these days, two of my favorite series also start in March and I'm doing everything I can to keep reminding it
